About

Clare Fotografie

Clare is a photographic artistic with an insatiable desire and determination to express her creativity through her visionary work.

After studying Graphic Art at Swinburne University, there was still something missing in her life. So Clare decided to travel around the world, picking up design and photographic opportunities in London, Europe and the United States of America. Clare’s extensive international experiences have opened her eyes to the creative potential photography exposes. In 2000, Clare staged her first solo photographic exhibition ‘The streets that have no names’ at Soho Lounge Gallery in about New York.

This successful exhibition instigated a professional liaison with photographer David Richmond, with whom she assisted on photo shoots such as Big Easy awards and for Gambit magazine. She has also worked with numerous fashion photographers throughout America. On returning to Melbourne, Clare decided to formalize her natural calling by studying Applied Photography at RMIT University. Her eight-year burgeoning success in the industry has motivated her current photographic business: clarefotografie, capturing the true character of life and people.
